Question:

Flip turn?

When I do a flip turn I always end up too far away from the wall so I can't kick off the wall. I don't like going too close to the wall because I am afraid I will hit my head (and that has happened before). About how far away from the wall should I flip?

  1. im afraid of that 2, now im a little more scared of it...

but, anyways, once u c the end of the blue line(the T) test and c how long it takes u 2 get 2 the wall, and remember that

  2. i have that problem a lot too.... try to do the flipturn one arms-length away from the wall

  3. ????

  4. Dont be scared, i used to be but then someone told be that as long as you have ur arm in front of ur head to fip over,  ur hand will hit the wall if ur too close, and you can push away from the wall, so that you dont hit ur head. Ive hit my head a few times, and it really doesn't hurt that much anyway. Dont be scared jst try getting close once, and if you do a good turn, get a good push off and dont hit ur head, then you will feel more confident and soon you will be able to do it again and again and you wont be scared any more.

  5. You should flip at about an arm's length away from the wall. It's pretty hard to hit your head on the wall while doing a flip turn... since you're moving your head away from the way... plus you can see the wall, so you shouldn't have a big problem with hitting your head on the wall.
