Flip video camera problems!!!?

so i just got a flip video ultra.. and im tring to put the vids on my mac.. i saved them to my computer using the flip for mac program.. but now when i put it into imovie all i get is like blank pages and codes and stuff. help!?!?!?!?!?

  1. 1) Go to apple.com

    2) click on "Downloads".

    3) Seach for "StreamClip"

    4) Download and install StreamClip (it is free, so don't worry)

    5) Import the video from your Flip to StreamClip and export as DV.

    6) Drag that converted file into the iMovie clips pane.

    7) Edit.
