Flirting or Friendship?

ok so i dont have many guy friends, but those i do, i get on so wel with, its like they'd be TOO perfect for a boyfriends, but i only see them as friends, and go on the same way as them.....i get there humour and they get mine, thats how its so easy to go on the same, but my girl frineds say i flirt....and its not, i kno when im flirting!!!!!!!

why would they say this?? and do you think the guys think im flirtin???

Uh, never having seen you with these guys, it's impossible for us to say whether or not you're flirting.

Joking around IS one of the common components.

I don't see why you're concerned. There's nothing wrong with flirting. Flirting is fun. It needn't lead to anything more, it's just fun on its own.

It may be, though, that they just don't understand friendship with boys. That's their problem, not yours.

Being a girl, I know you're flirting. But the problem is that the guys may not. Let's face it: some guys are pretty dang blind when it comes to things like that. Not all of them, but some. So you may need to kick it up a notch. Easier said than done, if you're shy, but if you want to get the guy, you do what you've gotta do.

Sometimes joking around with them is great, because I hear that guys love girls with a sense of humor. But if you do that, and ONLY that, the guys may just think you're basically another guy to hang with that looks like a girl. So next time they make a joke, kind of touch/swat him on the arm while laughing. It shows that you not only think he has a great sense of humor, but it also displays physical contact in a small sense. Don't overdo it, though, because he may think you're a spaz or something. Just little notions like that show the guy that you're interested. Once he shows some signal back that he's interested as well, try to flirt some more. If it's been a while since he's shown you interest, though, it might be time to change your guy. Although you're into him, he may not be into you. Remember that there are always plenty of other fish in the sea!
