Flirting suggestions?

I met this guy over the internet the other day, who I like, but I'm not that good at flirting. I want to compliment him and show him some interest, but I don't want to cross too many lines or sound cheesy (or trashy). Please give examples!

I once thought of telling him "you look cute in your display pic :) " But I thought that was too direct. Or maybe I should wait 'till I know him better (we've only had one semi-long conversation)

PSH, cute is an excellent adjective , and altho i respect roger i have to call him out on this, that even though its a male they can still be  cute, i prefer cute to handsome lol. its not so THERE. i think u should just tell him he looks cute in his DP cuz alot of ppl say thats, its casual but can be flirty. u could always end it in a *wink* or a ;D too. lol good luck.

You can comment on him personally or.....say things that let him know you're interested in him.  What did you do today?  Did you have fun this weekend?  I missed talking with you yesterday.  You know stuff like that.  He'll pick up on it.  You can tell someone how beautiful their smile is a hundred times and if the conversation goes no deeper than that, neither can the relationship.

well,as an expert in that matter,hahaha,well,i can tell you this,you can tell him "hey,nice pic,you look good",i mean,there's nothing wrong with it,everyone does...try to laugh from every joke he makes,or try to keep with a long conversation...everytime you watch him that he's got connected,wait a few minutes,and if he's not talking to you,you talk to him,it wont be that obvious if you wait up a lil'...

tell him that you love his picture. Or that you like the way his hair is done up in the photo or whatever it is you like about the photo. Other than that, you could ask if he wants to go see a movie or something.

Anyway, the way to flirt if you're face-to-face is to make eye contact, smile, and stay pretty close to him. Move your gaze from his eyes to his mouth, slowly, and if there's attraction on his end, you'll feel that magnetic pull and more than likely he'll be doing the same thing back at ya.

If you mean flirt in cyberspace you're going to have to put it in words and be bold. Since you can't use body language or anything else to convey what your feeling. But don't worry Sweetie, a cutie like you should have no problem making this guy melt all over you. =)
