Floaters only 16!!?

Ok in my left i have this annoying small balc one thats been there forever..but today i went outside and noticed i have this huge clear/gray one in my left eye..its very big or so it seems its made up from about 5 different stands..and also i have new smaller ones in my right eye...there soo anooying..i knwo they never go away..but will they sink..what if they keep getting worse...im freaked out

I have a large clear one, too, and it's perfectly fine (I'm 23 and I've had it for years).  I would not freak out.  They sink if you keep your eyes steady.  They are floating around in the liquid in your eye, so as your eyes move, they move around, too.  Floaters are usually not serious and quite common if you are a high myope (nearsighted).  But if you see a lot of new floaters at once, it is a good idea to see a doctor.  More importantly, if you see bright flashes of light with no cause, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.  If you are getting regular eye exams, I would not worry too much, but if it is really stressing you out, see a doctor.  :)


  2. Go to the eye doctor, that is a serious problem.

  3. Go to your doctor immediately. The issue with your left eye does not sound like a floater, it sounds serious.
