Floating holographic aura w/ lines transcending?

Question

When i went to my mom's a few weeks ago , she said she could see a circular aura about the size of a soccer ball floating around , holographic , with many lines zig-zagging through it. At first i thought (shes being weird) but then i started to see it. Could it be my uncle marc(diceased) , or grandmother? (also diceased , very nice lady) both of them i know had unfinished business in our world. Also , my mother's girlfriend (she is alternative lifestyle) is very spiritual , and almost obsessive over my mother, and the orb follows her around , rests on her shoulder , etc. all i can see is the faint outline of it , BARELY , but i do see it. what could it be?

Perhaps what you are seeing is an "orb."  Try googling "orbs" and you will get a lot of articles and photographs about them, including this one:

It sounds link an orb. With that much energy I'd certainly be interested in finding out who it was and why they were there, if I were you.

Seeing an orb with the naked eye is not an easy thing to do.  In fact I have never heard of anyone seeing one without a camera.  This is not to say that it can not happen.  In the paranormal world, anything is possible. But I would have to say without further info, I do not know what it is.  I would do some EVP work and see if there are any spirits around.  That might help.

She's most likely seeing an optical illusion.  You're seeing it because she told you about it.  Ghosts do not exist.

So you only saw it after your mother told you to look for it.  Why do you suppose that's the case here?  Do you think it could have something to do with her suggestion?  I do.

No offense, but it sounds like your mother and her g/f are magical thinkers and they're passing it on to you.

Was this mist shaped like a cloud? My brother seen something like that it was like a cloud, faint, and had red eyes.
