Floating the Guadalupe River

Question

I want to camp and float the Guadalupe river. Here is what i want. 1) I want to camp as high up on the river as possible to float down the longest possible before having to return. Any suggestions on where to stay? Y'all have any ideas? Let me know. I you have links or suggestions, let me know.

it depends on how long you want to be on the river 4-8hrs? try starting either at the horseshoe or in gruene.
