  1. I had that before.. but it was like a spider.  I really thought it was a spider at first.  I had just gotten over an eye injury and it was probably just blood moving around or something.

but for you, it could just be dust.

  2. it could be floaters. like curvy squiggly black lines that appear when you look around and they follow your eye movement. after a while you forget they are even there unless u pay close attention to it. it is pretty harmless and common unless it affects your normal day to day life.

  3. PARASITES. But that is the worse case scenario.

Easiest way to get it resolved is go to the ER they have so much test equipment at their disposal. Tell them you see worm like shapes in your eyes and you want to be tested for parasites. They will test for them and treat them.

If you have done LSD before that could also be it.

Many reasons but best to rule out the serious ones.

Funny I saw an episode of House where a kid was dying and that ended up being the reason. They figured out what was wrong with him when he finally told them he saw the worm like things in his vision.  TV shows make stuff up but still, it can really serious and life threatening.

PS. Josie it does not go unnoticed that all though it is pretty rare to have a thumbs down for all posters on a question every one you get involved with EVERYONE seems to get a mysterious thumbs down.

  4. sounds a bit like retina burn. it happens when you stare at bright lights for a long time, normaly it goes after about a minute or so, but that sounds weird

  5. Oo i know what your talking about...

its nothing really i see it sometimes buh it looks like a spider or something like that. Buh yea go to a different eye doctor&& its not parasites she lyin...

  6. They're harmless little bits of detritus floating in the vitreous humor (the goo inside your eyeball). They're called floaters, everyone has them, they're harmless and usually do not need any kind of treatment. Only if they are frequently distracting (i.e. you spot them a lot even when you're not looking for them) or if they increase in number, size or visibility should you be concerned.

  7. they're just floaters.  i suggest you get a new eye doctor, though.  yours sounds like a s*****k.

    i have them.  nothing serious.

  8. Hello there, i have been having eye problems for the past 8 months and i noticed them at first when i was reading. went to Ophthalmoligist\eye doctor and was told that there called floaters and its just protein in the eye. If you get more of them then I would see a new eye doctor, could be sign of some type of eye disease. I have recently become a diabetic and i see more of them over the months, along with other vision problems.   But it is true that many people have floaters and its normal..
