Floor is buckling. What do i do to keep it from getting worse? Money is a real issue here so any?

advise on how to fix it myself cheaply would be realy really appeciated! The room where the buckling floor is the bathroom, next to the tub. Thanks.

  1. If money is a real issue than do this. Get five or six foundation blocks. When you have them, Poor about 3 or 4 gallons of water (add a slash of vinager to each gallon) Pure it every where and lay the blocks on you high spots.. Also, while letting it dry open foundation vents on house. Note: If your going to do this now is a good time while it's hot.


  2. Probably due to water rotting out the floorboards over the years.  If you have a crawlspace under your house you could reinforce it with some lengthy 2 by 4s, maybe with some bricks holding up the crosspoint of the planks.
