Floppy Diskette Seek Failure?

ok so i start up my comp and it says there is a floppy diskette seek failure and gives me no prompts fro buttons.. also my keyboards dont seem to be working all 5 of them so im guessing its not the keyboard..i know im suppossed to boot the BIOS but when i hit the f2 key it says entering setup but goes back to the failure screen... any help would be much appreciated (im typing this on another computer thats not mine)

  1. You need to reset your BIOS back to default

    On M/board will be reset bios or words similar it will be near a 2 pin or 3 pin jumper setup

    2 pin connect the jumper which is on one pin across the 2 pins for 30 seconds then replace back to one pin

    3 pin  1 2 3 move jumper from pins 1 / 2 to pins 2 / 3 for 30 seconds then replace back to pins 1 / 2

    In both cases reboot this should set BIOS back to default

    Also check all hard drive and floppy cables are in correct the colored stripe goes nearest the 4 pin power plug on the unit
