Floppy disc needs formatting?

Question

ive got 2 computers, 1 very old and 1 two years old.there are some photos i want to take off the old one and put onto the new one.the only recordable media i have on the old 1 is the floppy disc.i copy photos onto the floppy but when i put it in the newer 1 it comps up the the floppy needs formatting.i then put it back into the old one and its fine and the photos are still on the floppy disc.the old one is not on internet.any ideas anyone

Your new PC probably formatted the disk to NTFS. But for older PC yo´ll need FAT32. Reformat the disk an it should be fine, but copy your data away from the disk first, as the formatting erases everything.
