  1. As far as I know a CBA test is a “Curriculum Based Assessment”, so it all depends on the curriculum you are following and only your Prof. can judge what he wants from you.

Regarding “Renaissance Florence”, it should be quite easy:

“The Renaissance” was the re discovery of “Classic” Greek and Roman culture, as opposed to orthodox monastic and scholastic learning of the Middle Ages, it was the re discovery of perspective in Art, of the human body and of general “beauty and harmony”. It was the age of inventions, renewed trade and prosperity.

“Florence” was one of the leaders of the Renaissance, the ruling families, especially the Medici, promoted  Art and Culture by adopting the ancient Roman tradition of  the  Ã¢Â€ÂœMecenate” (sponsorship of artists) . Another Florentine achievement was the “invention” of banking, the word comes from the Italian “banco”,  the desk on which transactions were carried out and then the name of “banche”, financial operators.

Famous artists of the time were Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, but a myriad others, who joined “schools” in all the primary city states, with Florence and Rome at their head.

Life was, however, also violent during this era, with family rivalries and frequent local wars, before the “great invasions” by the French, the Spaniards and the Imperialist troops took place and Italy became the warring and sparring arena.

ps giving the Italian railways link is just a joke, and I  imagine an invitation that you swat a little more, instead of asking for a ready made solution.
