Florent Malouda feels uneasy at Chelsea as season nears climax
French international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 has gone on to state that he feels rather uneasy regarding all the transfer speculation that is floating about at the moment, which claims that the players’ time at the club is nearing an end.
However the player has gone on to state that he would love to stay at the club and that he would not want to part ways with the team, under any circumstance.
The players current contract with the team is set to expire in 2013, however there have been no talks regarding any extensions as yet. As a result, the player has started to feel rather anxious about his future, mainly due to the reports that are stating
that the axe will be dropped on Malouda.
Malouda, who has started to feel that he has lost all footing in the club, wants to feel important for the team once again and is reported to have said, “I just want to feel I am important at the club’’.

“Sometimes I don’t feel so when I see in the media that the club are thinking of selling me, and I know I’m doing great”.
When asked about how he handled the situation regarding all the rumours, the player stated that he had words with the clubs officials and went on to state, “I said to them I want to know if there will be a revolution at the club this summer. There’s a lot
of rumours. They are saying I am one of the key players, one of the players we want to keep. Afterwards I see rumours in the press that I may be leaving, so I call them up, and say: ‘Where is this coming from?’ ”.
It is no surprise that Malouda is starting to feel the pressure. This is because the player has been one of the most off and on players at the club this season. Having joined the Blues from Lyon at the start of the 2007 season, the forward/midfielder has
gone on to make a total of a hundred and eighty appearances for Chelsea, whole scoring forty two goals along the way.
However the fact that the player is now thirty years old, is one of the greatest factors that is currently hindering the prospects of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 issuing contract extension talks with the player.
Despite being a worthy member of the squad, the team might have started to feel that perhaps it is time to introduce a younger player, who can give the team more seasons then Malouda can.
As a result it wouldn’t be surprising to see Malouda being sold to a team that makes a decent bid for the French international at the end of the season.
Nonetheless, in order for Chelsea to let go of the player, they would have to line up a replacement first. Should the team fail to do so, they could just hold on to the player for another season.
