Florentino Perez called up Sergio Ramos to his offices and asked him to explain his absence from the training ground on Monday, as well as his rift with Mourinho.

Perez had initially set-up the meeting with the versatile defender to mend bridges between the player and coach. Ramos rejected notions of problems with the Special One and relayed his thoughts to the President.
The Spanish full-back had earlier attempted to reject any news of a dispute between himself and Mourinho. He used Social media networking website, Twitter, to defuse the situation circulating around him and the Portuguese coach.
Ramos reflected that the Real Madrid dressing room is united and anyone who is circulating news otherwise is lying. He added that he is bound to Los Blancos' cause and will work hard with the group to achieve their goals.
"Whoever says that the squad is divided or that there are fractures, is lying," Ramos Twitter page read. "There is a great group and a great union.
"Success will come if we work together."
It has been explained that the defender did not train with the rest of the squad on Monday after seeking permission from the club.
In addition to the 25-year-old, Portuguese international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 also missed training for Los Blancos. It was revealed that he did not feature due to physical problems.
