The 23-year-old is in a confident mood ahead of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign and believes that his side can beat any team in France including Paris Saint-Germain

Les Phoceens’ latest acquisition has expressed his delight at signing for the Rhone club and has his eyes set on helping Marseille challenge the likes of Lille, Lyon, Montpellier and Paris Saint-Germain next season.
Raspentino is eagerly waiting for next season to get underway and despite not having played a single minute in Ligue 1 before, the Frenchman is confident of performing well at this level.
The talented frontman is bullish about his side’s chances in the Ligue 1 next season and feels that Marseille have the ability to perform well in the league and the Rhone club can even beat Ligue 1 favourites Paris Saint-Germain.
While talking to reporters, the former FC Nantes player expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing for the club he has supported since he was a kid.
"It is a huge moment for me. I am now playing for the club I have supported since I was a little kid.” Florian Raspentino told reporters.

“On top of my love for the shirt, I'm very happy that there is a very promising sporting project under way here. It's a great time to come here because this season the young players will have much more of a chance to play."
On a question of the massive investment Paris Saint-Germain have made in the transfer market, Florian Raspentino said that money doesn’t always guarantee success and his side can beat the cash-laden club from Paris.
"Naturally, the side on everyone's mind now is Paris Saint-Germain, and when you see the kind of players they are bringing in, it is impressive. But you never know what can happen in football, and I think Marseille can beat them this year."
