Florida Adoption?

Question

Have you adopted in Florida? Ours is finally finalized next month, and I plan on filing for Non Recurring Expenses (1,000 that the State gives back to you for misc. fees and things)

Have you ever filed for this? What happend? What was asked in the way of proof?

I'm not in Florida, but we did contact our local Children & Youth Services here in PA.  They helped us to file the proper paperwork and they also obtained medical assistance for our child as it was considered a "special needs" adoption due to his rare genetic disorder.   It was a really easy process and the only paperwork we had to show was the adoption finalization decree.
