Florida Cellphone Bill in April

Question

There was a bill that was supposed to go through the Florida Senate in April of this year, banning minors from using cell phones and from texting while driving. It was passed by the Senate Transportation Committee but I can't find where it was passed or defeated in the Florida Senate or if the vote has even happened yet. Any information would be very helpful!

it should be illegal to text or call in every state when driving (for all ages). some people are to stupid to multitask. couple that with the fact that a lot of people suck at driving.
