Florida Department Of Corrections Eligable For Rehire??

Question

I worked for Fl Department Of Corrections as a CO last year. I attended 1 day of CTI and being stupid I quit. I want back in. Does anybody know anything about being rehired? I only attended 1 day of CTI in Olustee FL.

Probably not.  Usually, Florida state personnel policy states that if someone terminates employment without 14 days notice, they are ineligible for rehire in that department.  There are certain exemptions for critical need area and DOC is usually on that list.  So, call them and find out.
