Florida Virtual School tuition?

Is the tuition $375 a semester or $375 per course in a semester? I'm very confused!?

On the website it says:

Tuition is $375 for each semester (.5 credit). International students pay an additional $25 processing fee, making the total $400 per .5 credit. AP Courses are also and extra $25.00. Our tuition rates are an exceptional value for one-on-one instruction with a subject-certified teacher. Private schools often charge $8-10,000 per year for instruction; a full curriculum with our program is still under $5,000.

Florida Virtual School is free IF YOU LIVE IN FLORIDA. That webpage is for people who do not live in Florida.

If you live in Florida it's free.  It looks to me to be $375 a semester.

This sentence you wrote, "Tuition is $375 for each semester (.5 credit)" says it all.  It means tuition is $375 per 0.5 credit hour per semester.  That typically is one class.  So if you need 4-6 classes per semester, you'd pay $1500-2250 per semester.

BTW, that's about the average cost for online courses.  I'm currently looking into them for my HS'ed DS.

Florida Virtual School is free to all residents in the State of Florida. The pricing you see is for students outside of Florida.

Prices are per course & credit-

Tuition rates are as follows:

.5 credit courses- $375 for non AP®; $400 for AP

1 credit course - $750 for non AP®; $800 for AP

Fees include course materials, shipping and handling.

Notes:

Students who reside outside the continental United States will be charged a $50.00 per course communications and materials handling.

FLVS provides a 28-day grace period where students may drop a course with a penalty not exceeding the $150 non-refundable deposit for general courses and $200 for AP courses. All students are required to complete a certain number of assignments per week. If the pace requirement is not followed, students will be removed from the course with no refund.
