Florida in october??..?

Question

well im going to florida in october. i know its the hurricane season but will there be any hurricanes? what the weather like and will i get a good tan as im pretty pale... thanks! xx

one thing to learn about florida.... it's hard to tell the weather over the next couple hours, let alone a few months in advance

i've been through tropical storms that hit in october, through heat and humidity, cold mornings (at 40 someodd in ft myers) so basically plan for anything between 35 & 90 with feels like temps between 25 & 100. check the weather when it gets closer

Hurricanes can happen anytime, and you don't get more than a few days warning. Hurricanes peak season - the period when they are most likely to occur - is July through October. Also FL is a big state, so a hurricane that hits say, Miami, might have little or no effect in Jacksonville or Tampa or Pensacola.  Basically what people are saying here is there is no answer to your question!
