Question:

Florida soft shell turtle eggs in my garden...

Okay, they have been in there for about 12-13 weeks now. I would LOVE to use my garden for growing veggies, but I don't want to interrupt the gestation of these turtles. I heard they only take about 9 weeks to hatch, yet they have been in there for at least 12 weeks. Any ideas if they are okay or not?

Thanks

  2. Mark the nest and dig elsewhere for your gardening for the time being. They might still hatch.
