Question:

Flossing adds 4 years to your life?

I talked to a scientist who told me that flossing adds 4 years to your life on average because it cleans bacteria that would otherwise enter your blood stream.

Okay I know he was a scientist, but does anyone have any legit proof of this, or prior knowledge?

  4. weird for a scientist to make such a generalization but its probably true to an extent, if you want proof look up journal articles at a university library/website.

  6. not true. No way the bacteria would kill you 4 years earlier. But you might get a cold more often if you don't floss.
