Question:

Flower Girl Dresses?

I went shopping for dresses for my flower girls. They are way too expensive at the boutiques and bridal shops. I can't see spending $150 - $300 on dresses for little girls ages 4 & 7.

Can you give me some ideas of where dresses for the flower girls can be purchased at a reasonable price?

  1. Try www.shellyleppertdesigns.com, they are a formal consignment and wedding shop that has new and used wedding gowns, flower girl dresses and more and they can custom make you flower girl dresses at a really good price, you can even rent them.

  2. I got my daughter her flower girl dress from TJMaxx, I spent 39.99 on it.  It was a Cinderella brand Communion dress.  They carry them also at Dillards for around 80 to 100 dollars which is still to expensive, but maybe you can catch them on sale.

I found mine around Easter time.

    Also search consignment shops.

You can also find something from JcPenney that is flowery but not white or a formal, but that all depends on how formal of a wedding that you are going to have.

  3. I got my niece's flowergirl dress off of Ebay.  It is absolutely adorable and was a quarter of the price.  She is only 4 and I didn't want people to be after her all night about not spilling or getting messy or anything like that.  She can enjoy herself now and if something gets on the dress, oh well!

  4. You can try this website. They have lots of dresses for a wonderful price.

  5. I got matching ones at a used kid's clothing store.  They were beautiful, worn once, and were on consignment.  $20 each, couldn't beat that!

  6. I have a son and bought a ring bearer suit from Everything Nice.  They were very helpful.  I noticed they have dresses for alot less then that range.  My favourite (if I had a girl) sells for only $60.00.

    Sarah.

  7. Davidsbridal.com :]

Great and cheap just search flower girl dresses

    in the search box :]

  8. Find a local seamstress and have them made. It will be WAY cheaper than buying them through a bridal store. Also, check out places like JC Penny's. If you are getting married after Easter next year, keep you eyes open around that time.

  9. I would check department stores. Look for something in a similar color. There's no rule that says she has to have the same dress as the bridesmaids.

    Cheap and wonderfully crafted!!!

  11. I have six neices, three of them were in our wedding (the other three are too young), but I wanted them all to have the same dress. We had someone make pillowcase dresses with our wedding color ribbon at the top and beautiful lace at the bottom. Everyone commented on how beautiful they were...I think our total was about $125 for all six dresses for the labor, lace and ribbon. We provided the pillowcases. Just an idea! :)

  12. We are getting our flower girl dress at Alfred Angelo.  I am not sure of the price of the one we picked, but I know they had several under $100.  They are also having a sale next week.  Here is the link: http://www.alfredangelo.com/Content.aspx...
