Flower ideas/meanings?

I would really like to use green carnations and lavender roses for my wedding next year. What do you think of the idea, and can anyone tell me what meanings are associated with green carnations?

the link above explains everything about green carnations.  okay okay i know what you're thinking, "wikipedia? omg.  doesn't this girl know that wikipedia gives out wrong info."  well, i never use wikipedia for a reliable source for important information like history or science (you know school stuff) but i think a lot of the info from wikipedia is right, especially for the brief descriptions in the link above.  sorry, off topic here, haha (:  so best of luck with everything!  it sounds beautiful <3
