  1. definately Jasmine, the best perfume ever!

  2. Honeysuckle and some smells nice

  3. I like Confederate Jasmine: evergreen, dark glossy leaves and white blooms that smell like gardenia that last from early spring throughout the summer. Clematis is a pretty choice too but it is not an evergreen, as beautiful as it is in bloom and having color choices that are incredible most would be happy regardless of it's need to go bare in winter. Wintersweet is a semi/evergreen here and it's another good choice however, not quite as deep in leaf color but a very prolific white bloomer. Yellow Jasmine semi/evergreen blooms in early spring but tends to get a little leggy at the base if not trimmed/cut back. Unfortunately, that cut back places you back at square one of your arch covering every year. Depending on your climate/zone there are some other choices but these that I've chosen can grow anywhere.

  4. Jasmine officinalis flowers over a long period with smallish white flowers. Jasmine polyanthum smells even stronger and has sprays of pink tinged flowers in Spring.

And then there's the climbing iceberg or Wisteria

  5. Jasmine grows fast, climbs great, with delicate blossoms that have a heavenly fragrance.  It's also easy to grow!

  6. Clematis cirrhosa - I have a beautiful one that flowers almost continuously all year but the speckled flowers hang down so an arch would be perfect.  it is evergreen  (I am in Britain) and the foliage is much more dense than other clematis.

  7. honeysuckles. clamatis, roses.jasmine are beautiful and well scanted too

  8. where do you live. if you live in temperate areas to sub tropical your best be it an evergreen clematis. can suivive temps to 5 degrees fahrenheit and even to 0 and -5 fahrenheit.

for the tropics live s cal and central and s florida as well as bermuda and hawaii and all the carribean some vines like mandevilleas and maybe even bougainvilleas are good choses

  9. When we were buying our home, we looked at one that had jasmine growing over their archway. It smelled heavenly and had gorgeous flowers!

  10. Ivy is good.
