Flowering plant ID?

I am from Kentucky and recently saw a wildflower that I couldn't identify. It is a small leafy plant growing wild in a pasture. The bloom is quarter-sized, pale bluish/gray color, in the distinct shape of a star. In the very center of the star is a separate bright yellow bud.
