Question:

Flowers for all Occasions?

I ordered a bouquet for my mum for Mother's Day early to avoid the rush but it didn't arrive. I phoned them and they appologised saying they would send another and phone my mum direct to appologise. Neither happened. i then rang again today and was told all they could do was to refund me.

How is this good customer service?

Should I take this further and to whom?

  1. try trading standards

  2. First, tell them you are still wholly dissatisfied and want them to honour their original commitment to send the flowers and apologise to your mum. If they don't, you will contact the Watchdog programme, local newspaper and Trading Standards Office. This should be enough to encourage their prompt action.

You could even ask for a refund AND a complimentary bouquet "in the circumstances", to see if you've really drove it home to them that they failed you badly as a supplier.

Be tough - they need to sort this fast.

  3. You could try the local Trading Standards people

This wont help on this occaision, but next time you visit your Mum why not try and find a local florist, then you can just ring them up. I have always found local independents to be better than the big chains - but agree with My Grain never had a problem with Interflora

Hope you Mum likes her flowers as and when they ever turn up... from whichever supplier

  4. Who was this? I've always used interflora, they've always been very reliable-so far!

  5. That is rubbish. If it's a franchise, complain directly to their customer service. If not, go in personally and make a huge scene in front of other customers - they'll have to do something then.

  6. Try this link in future they are excellent.

  7. Next Flowers On-Line are the best.
