how many hydrangeas would it take to make a ball bouquets.

  1. You might ask a florist how many hydrangeas it would take, and give him/her an approximate size that you want it to be. It is a beautiful bouquet! good luck and congratulations


  2. It would depend on how big you want the bouquet to be. A hydrangea in bloom is pretty big so I would think no more than two to three for a big one. You don't want to overwhelm. I had hydrangeas at my wedding as well and it was may so the blooms were big enough to carry just one for a bouquet. Good luck and Congrats!

  3. This bouquet of white hydrangeas (on the right) http://www.custom-floral.com/WFB06-11.jp... calls for 3 stems of hydrangea. The hydrangeas we get from our wholesalers are generally much smaller than what you might see in your garden. In season, they tend to run larger. If you can get them locally in season, sometimes you can get one stem big enough to be a bouquet. If you're doing these yourself, order a few extra, and then you'll be covered if you end up getting a few smaller blooms. Hope that helps!
