Question:

Flowers that will bloom during the Fall

What could I begin planting now that would be pretty blooming through the Autumn months? I live in northeastern pennsylvania. Thanks for your help!

  1. ok. so we've had MUMS for like 3 years now. i live in PA too.

    Mums grow really fast and HUGE. they also have MANY colors to chose from. the mums we bought 3 years ago are still there. they get really big during the spring and summer and then they bloom in the fall. they'll keep growing bigger and bigger and bloom many flowers.

  3. I'm partial to echinachea (coneflowers).  Asters are a fall-growing flower.

  4. zinnias, marigolds, mums, asters, duster miller are hardy

  5. Pansies like cool weather and can often last through light frost.  They are reliable here in the Pacific NW from September onward.

  6. marigolds are good to plant now altho they are a annual they will continue to flower well into nov.

  7. Mums they are perfect for fall. They also come in many colors. Hope this helps.
