Floyd Mayweather: I am pretty sure Pacquiao will have a tough time against Bradley – Boxing News
Floyd Mayweather, the current WBC welterweight champion, believes Timothy Bradley will give Manny Pacquiao ‘a tough time’ in the ring. According to Floyd, Bradley is a boxer who can fight well and that will definitely be a challenge for Pacquiao.
Floyd Mayweather, who is known for his cheesy remarks for Pacquiao, came up saying that American unbeaten fighter Timothy Bradley can box a ‘little bit’, which will be a challenge for Pacquiao. Mayweather said that he does not know Bradley that well but
he saw him fighting once. According to Mayweather, if not the best, Bradley is among the rising stars.
Mayweather further said, “I’m pretty sure Pacquiao has a tough task on his hands with the young fighter. I had a chance to see the fighter fight, and the fighter that he (Pacquiao) is facing can box a little bit, so I don’t think it’s going to be an easy
task for him. We wanted the Pacquiao fight for May 5th, but it didn’t happen, so there’s nothing I can do. Like I said before, this guy (Cotto) has a lot of experience under his belt, and I know he’s going to come to fight. Hopefully, you know, after this
fight, of course we want the Pacquiao fight.”
Manny Pacquiao will go head to head with the unbeaten American fighter Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Manny Pacquiao will have his WBO welterweight title on the line against Bradley, while Bradley will have his unbeaten streak on
the line. While Manny is considered pound-for-pound king today, Timothy Bradley is no less. He is considered among the rising stars of boxing today.
On the other hand, Floyd Mayweather will go head to head with Miguel Cotto on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Floyd Mayweather, who was in negotiations to get a fight against Pacquiao, believes he will beat the Pac-Man sooner or later. However, Manny
Pacquiao on the other side is thinking of retirement, so both of them have to go the extra mile to make the fight happen.
