Let's put it this way. . . .Diego Corrales AND Jose Luis Castillo would BOTH destroy Margarito within eight rounds. . . .and Floyd smacked them both like it was his job.  Castillo fought Floyd the best, for sure. . . but Floyd rules.

u shouldnt count out margarito. his volume of puches in different angles, aggressiveness, world class chin,devastating body shots,height,reach,power,good at cutting the ring off. i think floyd would jump on his bike and pot shot his way to a victory, but he will get tagged hard with a couple of good shots.

Margarito isn't that good and his defense is full of holes. Mayweather would box his ears off for 12 rounds and win easily on the cards.

It is obvious that Mayweather is the big favorite to win if these two ever fought. I'm a huge Margarito fan so this is probably the only reason i am saying this, but he still has the puncher's chance to win. Margarito is one of the biggest punchers in the welterweight division, of course mayweather's speed and defense is a factor, and also margarito's poor defensive skills. But if it goes to 12 rounds, it will go to mayweather.

Floyd Mayweather an easy win. It would be a landslide if these 2 fighter ever meet in the ring. Mayweather will have to much speed and to much power.  He'll Slip and slide and land the cleaner and bigger shots. Margarito is one of those fighter who leave them selves to open when they start throwing puches in bunches. Mayweather defense is to good and he'll counter punch Margarito all day until someones decides to call it a night. It would look like the Mayweather vs Coralles fight. This Mayweather he's fast and has yet to meet he's challenge.
