Floyd Mayweather dodged Manny Pacquiao again?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has won 41 matches and lost none in his entire career till date. The man who lives in a $9.5 million mansion once again has refused to enter the same ring as Manny Pacquiao. The boxing pundits say if you have ever spent $60 to watch one of his fights then you have probably paid for the mansion which he refers to as the Big Boy house. Though there is nothing wrong with contributing to it but sadly you are not ever likely to get an invitation to his pool parties.
The media is thrashing Floyd for backing out again and say that he needs to get out of his pool and face the Filipino legend. This is a fight that Mayweather has dodged for the third time, a match whose date had been set already and the money had been settled. Critics say the last time he opted out on a valid reason because Manny Pacquiao rejected on being tested by the drug agency.
Although this time Manny is ready and says he will go under any test asked by the Mayweather camp. Bob Arum who is Manny’s promoter says he is baffled by Floyd’s decision as anyone, he also stated that he believes that Floyd is resisting on putting up a fight because of the legal woes made by Roger Mayweather who is Floyds coach and uncle. While Mayweather will enjoy his time beside his pool, Manny is looking for a new contender to fight against on November 11th.
Roger Mayweather was accused of assault by a female boxer last year, and he is to appear in court next month in Las Vegas.
Critics think to seem otherwise, they say that Roger’s charges is not the reason why Mayweather is holding back, because the boxer learnt to throw punches when he was only a toddler and the word ‘fear’ is not in his vocabulary.
On the other hand Pacquiao’s supporters continue to believe that Mayweather is scared to fight, because he knows he will lose. In addition Manny recently stated that he will continue to train and fight someone else on 21st November whether Mayweather shows up for the fight or not. The Filipino might end up in the ring against Miguel Cotto who was recently crowned the junior middleweight champion. Pacquiao has fought with Miguel before and knocked him out in 2009.
The fight between Pacquiao and Cotto might not have much appeal to the boxing world, but experts claim Manny will certainly contract many views because he is not only a good boxer but a great entertainer and will surely make millions.
Mayweather was reached by many media outlets who asked him why he has walked out of match that has yet to take place. He did not give much insight to them besides stating, how he was enjoying his vacations spending time with his family and friends. Reportedly he appeared at the charity basketball game held by Dwyane Wade and Alonzo Mourning, where Mayweather eagerly pitched questions relating to the NBA but when he was asked about boxing and Pacquiao in particular he stopped responding.
In a phone call interview held on Monday, Arum said that he did what he could to pressurize Mayweather to step into the ring, but the kid’s heart did not seem in place. Bob Arum asked the reporters, what is he suppose to do? The fact that Floyd is under no obligation to fight this year, but I still cannot persuade the kid to fight. Bob also said that that the great fighters look for big fights and there is no bigger fight than Floyd Mayweather Jr. versus Manny Pacquiao.
Critics say if Mayweather wants to be recognized as one of the greatest boxer ever to live he needs to fight someone of his calibre, and not praise himself about his previous wins which were fought against aging players like Shane Mosley, who he beat on 1st May 2010.
