Floyd Mayweather is afraid of Manny Pacquiao confirmed 50 Cents – Boxing News
50 Cents, Curtis Jackson, Former best friend and business partner of WBC welterweight titlist Floyd Mayweather, has revealed that the American unbeaten fighter is afraid of facing Filipino fight sensation Manny Pacquiao. Jackson, who had formed the TMT Promotions
with Floyd Mayweather and recently broke the partnership, revealed that he was tired of ‘running away from Manny Pacquiao’.
“I can't hang out with Floyd no more, I'm tired of running from manny pacquiao.
#smsAudio,” tweeted Jackson, who announced the end of his partnership with Mayweather last week via Twitter.
Pacquiao recently lost his WBO title to American unbeaten fighter Timothy Bradley via controversial split decision. He is now scheduled to fight Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. On the other hand, Mayweather
is currently enjoying his time off, and he has no plans for a fight soon.
A fight between the two is being planned by both the camps for three years now. However, none of the side has been to come up with a solution to the demands being made from both the sides. Earlier this year, both fighters were in direct contact to sort things
out but nothing productive emerged. Mayweather had offered Pacquiao to walk away with a fixed fee for the fight, which apparently was a deal of embarrassment for the Pac-man, who believes he is as popular as Mayweather and should get equal share of the pay
per view proceedings.
Now, Pacquiao is ready to give Mayweather 55% of the entire pay per view proceedings but there unbeaten American is still hesitant over facing him. According to most analysts, it is obvious now that Mayweather is avoiding Pacquiao, as he knows that the Filipino
has the potential to end his unbeaten streak.
Last week in an interview, Pacquiao stated that if the fight against Mayweather does not happen by the end of 2013, it will never happen. In other words, Pacquiao has given Mayweather a deadline to decide if he wants to make the fight happen. On the other
hand, Mayweather is still down to his grounds, saying nothing about the fight happening and instead bashing Pacquiao.
