Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto Face off with Max Kellerman was aired last night for their upcoming super bout on May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Both the boxers spoke about their preparations for the match and what fans should expect of them. The fight
will have Miguel Cotto’s super welterweight title on the line.
Even though the Face off was advertised as something that would reveal secrets to the fans, nothing exceptional was unwrapped. Floyd Mayweather was confident as ever while Cotto seemed intimidated. The Face off clearly showed that the match will be a one
sided match with Mayweather leading the show while Cotto will be pleased with his paycheck, which will be probably be his career’s biggest ever.
Nevertheless, the way Mayweather was behaving towards was unexpected. He was being very respectful and he even called Cotto one of the best fighters out there. When asked, Mayweather said that the match will be great because the king of pay-per-view (himself)
will take on one of the best fighters around Miguel Cotto. When Cotto was asked about his preparation, he said, “I'm going to be prepared enough for Floyd, and I'm going to work really hard. I guarantee a win.”
Floyd Mayweather jr. even said that Miguel Cotto has good style. The show starts with Max asking Cotto about his plans on beating Mayweather and Cotto replied, “we are going to figure it out in the training camp and I will be the first one.”
Then Mayweather was asked as to what he is planning for the fight. Mayweather said, “I have been there before, I know what it takes, we chose Miguel Cotto because he is solid and we want top competition. He is one of the best fighters out there. He is a
due Hall of Famer? Absolutely!”
At the end, both fighters shook hands vowing the give the fans what they want to see which is a real fight from real fighters.
For now, that was all both of them had to say. Mayweather was confident while Cotto is still trying to figure it out how to beat the American unbeaten.
