They both fought Ali and Ken broke Ali jaw while Floyd got KO by Ali so I pretty sure that Ken can beat Floyd.

Bigger, stronger, longer reach, good punching power and a crab like defense too. Better than Patterson/Ellis and much like an Ali vs. Patterson type fight. Norton is just too much IMO.

Norton gets his popularity mainly from the company he kept.  He was #5 in the great line up of champions and never would have been champ had it not been for the WBC's gift.  He gave a post-prime Ali fits but he really wasn't that great.  

Still he was better than Patterson.  

The 70s was stronger than the 60s.  Patterson was champ to begin the decade and a contender throughout.   He MIGHT have made the top 10 in the 70s.  The weird thing about it is that Ali was considered King of that era.   ALL the others would have beaten Patterson easier than Ali did.  Still, the key is that ALL would have beaten him.  

Patterson could win a decision if Norton goes the entire fight and never catches Floyd on the chin.  Norton didn't take a punch very well either but nobody is worse than Floyd in that regard.   Pick your top 10 during the 70s.  I struggle to find someone Patterson would have beaten.  

Patterson holds a slight lead for the first few rounds.  Norton catches Patterson in round six and sends him to the canvas.  Patterson rises but he's still on q***r street.  Norton moves in and finishes him off.

ken norton would win because hes to strong got to good of a defence and floyyd had a very very weak jaw plain and simple
