Floyd "The Money" Mayweather In the WWE?

What the h**l is Floyd Mayweather doing going into the WWE?

After his VERY impressive fight against the tidy Ricky Hatton the other month he's now going on Wrestlemania? What the h**l is that all about? We all know that the wrestling is a big act... he's a professional boxer for god's sake. Won't this kill any credability that he has?

I can't understand it? I'm sure the money will be good, but is he actually wrestling or boxing in there? I assume he'll win and end up spinning some contract for millions of $$$ but i just think he's dropped a clanger with this one.

There was talk of him coming over here to fight Hatton @ Wembley next year which would be good. But this one? He may as well go on Celebrity come dancing.

I think it's just promo for his next fight in September.  Remember, he was also in "Dancing with the Stars", I'm sure many people would have wondered why he was there.  Kind of a good way to keep his name going in the media.

floyd is only doing what any successful athlete and businessman would do go where the money is at. mayweather is a stellar athlete, savvy businessman, and huge wrestling fan. he was doing something that other boxers should do and that is do some crossover dealings with wrestling so it could help boost popularity with both boxing and wrestling. and besides floyd won so that was cool. i am a wrestling and boxing fan and i would think that it would be great to see more of this happening.

i agree, but im also a wrestling fan and i have to tell you alot of wrestling fans kinda feel the same way. alot of them dont like famous people outside of wrestling to come be on the shows and stuff, they think its dumb and an insult to pro wrestling. an obvious reason for that would be that mayweather is not a trained wrestler and his match will probably be pretty bad, where as most of the other matches that night are expected to be entertaining.

i dont think pro wrestling and boxing should associate themselves with eachother at all. niether is good for the other.
