I think they will have at least 10 wins & be back in the Playoffs.

  1. 5% chance of winning this year, but not a fluke last year.  They had the right combination of luck, momentum and being in the right place at the right time.

  2. in the playoffs for sure.

  3. 7-9 season and miss the playoffs. They lost a lot of good players (Michael Strahan, Jeremy Shockey, etc.).

Their Super Bowl victory was NOT a fluke!!! Just because a team has a bad season after winning the super Bowl doesn't mean their Super Bowl victory was a fluke. So many people fail to realize that.

  4. I would agree with you. The Giants have a good a chance as anyone in the NFC.

  5. Last Season they were 6 and 2 at home.  This year dosn't look any better.  Manning lacks the poise in the pocket, Internal squables with salary and the like will hurt them like any other team.  They play in the toughest division in the NFC and argueably in football.  Strahan left a big.  Tuck is good, but not that great...Yet. I really don't think they will pull it off.

  6. they might make the first round.  :)

  7. yeah they will be pretty good

  8. They have a good shot @ repeating (that sucks for me being a Dallas fan). Last year was no fluke though. Eli grew up and the team responded well...damnit.

  9. I agree, they will most definitely be back in the playoffs, kind of unlikely for them to go to the super bowl again tho. But they will have a great season!

  10. I agree they will make it to the playoffs, but as you know it gets tough after that. I'm hoping for a good showing from the Saints. Don't laugh but hoping for Saints vs Oakland or Saints vs Jets Superbowl. I know it's funny but it's just a hope.

I am a betting man and I am smart enough NOT to wager on this happening.

  11. It's going to be the Giants vs. Colts in the superbowl!

  12. I think Cranky Yankee had a great point mentioning the road games, and their handling of the Pats in the Superbowl. There is definitely no cause to say that the Giants wins were flukes last year. They pulled their sh*t together and played great smashmouth football.

That being said, the past few winners of the Superbowl have not faired  the best the following season. If they play ball like they did last year, and if they can handle their own division (which should be pretty competitive) they have a good chance at making a playoff or Superbowl run again.

  13. maybe 6-10 and manning been  manning, throwing more interceptions than td's

the winner in nfc east will be cowboys and maybe the skins  catch the wildcard

  14. might be able to but another Super Bowl highly unlikely

  15. Winning as many consecutive road games as they did, especially the final three against the division champs and then handing the Pats their only loss wasn't a fluke.  People need to give them more credit for it.  What a season!  But I'll agree with your pick...sounds about right.

  16. I agree.  I can see them winning 10 or 11 games, even if they make the wild card again they have a shot. I'm curious to see if how Eli will do without Shockey for a full season, but we all know what happened after he was injured last season.

  17. they go in as a wild card...the boys will win nfc east
