Fluoxetine standing up?

im on 20mg Fluoxetine quite often when i stand up everything goes black... then comes back in to focus is this normal? ive been on it for about a week for clinical depression

I agree with ORIHIME...

but yeah when I was on it, that kinna happen to me, I didn't see black but things were out of focus and blurry and I was light headed.. just take your time when sitting or standing up : )

I've never had that side effect from it, but most side effects like this one go away after about three weeks.  Stick with it and make sure you take it like you're supposed to, if the side effect doesn't go away after that, then talk to your doctor about changing to a different medication.
