Fly Bonnet Crochet Pattern

Question

Does anyone have a crochet pattern for an equine fly bonnet? I find free patterns everywhere, but I can't seem to find one for a fly bonnet. Thanks

Fly bonnets are made like they are out of the material that they are for a reason.  They help keep the sun out of your horses eyes, plus, even though they are durable, will tear if your horse snags them, so your horse doesn't get caught up somewhere with his fly bonnet.  I wouldn't want a close fitting, crocheted bonnet on my horse for lots of reasons, some of which I just mentioned.  If it were loose, like the commercial ones, it would definitely get caught up on limbs, fences, etc .  I would buy one that was made commercially for a horse, out of material that has been tested for that purpose.  They aren't exactly that expensive.
