  1. Try using  weighted streamers such as clousers. bead or conehead buggers,  I tie and sell a conehead marabou version of the classic Mickey Finn.  If they want a little more meat..try a double bunny. All these flies are available on my website.  I've  included a link. If you dont use a weighted fly, your gonna need to add some shot to get the fly down to where the fish are.(on the bottom). I'm not sure what caliber fly angler you are but I'll give you some advice anyway. If you are fishing streamers, cast at a 45 degree angle down river and just let your fly swing in the current until it is directly downstream from you..resist the temptation to just pick it up immediately..let it sit there in the current for a while fluttereing and dipping andyou'll be surprised how many strikes you get using that method....no hits?  pick it up  and repeat about as many times as you feel necessary and then take a few steps downstream and repeat the process over working the whole run until you feel that you've fished it thoroughly enough to either move to another run or you might want to start at the top and refish it to get any fish that struck short.  Wish I was going with ya!  Good Luck!

  2. Use  http://www.google.com  to find fly shops in the area that you are going to fish.  Call and ask them, and see if they will tell you what you need to get/use/purchase.  Some of them have fishing reports on their web sites and the type of flies that they are using on the various rivers in their area.

Most likely it will be small nymphs and egg patterns.

  3. at sportsmans wherhouse 99cent flies ask the fly guy there

  4. pretty much any fly will work!
