Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good route to fly from Australasia to Dubin please!

I live in Melbourne myself and I would fly into one of the Asian cities and catch a connect flight to Dublin. But which Asian city is the best for stopover ie airport or hotel overnight? Also which airlines does fly from an Asian city direct to Dublin.

I searched on the net and didnt seem to find the right combination.

I hope someone out there who has flown similar route before can advice me

Thank you everyone

  1. Melbourne(SIA or Qantas) > Singapore > London(SIA/BA) > Dublin(BA)

    Singapore has great shopping, food and step into the new terminal three! its gorgeus!

    hop on Singapore airlines, customer satisfaction guaranteed!

    Stopover @ London Heathrow for connetcting flight

    that's all i can afford to answer.

    cheers =p

  2. i went last year (the opposite way lol) Dublin>Frankfurt(5hrs)>Singaopre(4days)>...

    on the way back

    Cairns>Melbourne>Hong Kong(3days)>London(2hrs)>Dublin

    i flew Quantas on the way and British Airways on the way back (long haul) and Quantas were far better but i have heard that Singapore airlines are excellent for long haul off my uncle who makes the trip form singapore to dublin regularly
