Flying - Carry on bags?

Question

I'm flying to Toronto in a couple of days and i was wanting to take my checked suitcase, a carry on bag and my purse.

My carry on and purse i would want to come with me on the plane.

i was wondering if i could take both items because i had heard your only allowed one carry on item per person, but i didnt know if my purse was included.

The carry on bag is forsure under 15 pounds and my purse is well, not much either.

will this be okay?

Also, im flying air canada within the country.

Your purse is not considered the One Item for carry-on.  You are allowed your purse + one carry-on item (really: two items, literally).

Sure thing. When you go flying you're allowed a carry on bag and a small personal item [like a pillow or a purse, etc]

So no worries! I'm also flying soon, so I've been researching this as well. :]

Your purse is not considered to be your carry on item. Most airlines will allow you to bring on carry on item and one personal item (ie. purse).  I always travel with my laptop bag and my purse and have never had an issue.

You can carry on a purse AND a carry on suitcase/bag. but make sure you don't carry any lotions, hairsprays, etc. on your carry on or they will throw it all out or force you to put in with the rest of the luggage.

yes, you can! every time i fly, i take a medium sized duffle bag for my carry-on and a backpack for my personal item. as long they fit you can take them.

your carry-on item must be able to fit into the overhead compartment, and your personal item (in your case, your purse) must be able to fit under the seat in front of you.
