When I was a child I dream't that I could fly and the dream was so real I woke up and on believeing my dream, I jumped off the top of the stairs, only to land crying in a heap at the bottom, all bruised and shocked....I was six then....

Now I'm 47 and I had the same dream last night and I wanted to jump to the ceiling and float down slowly doing a piroet? In the dream it felt soo great.

Why am I having this uforic (excuse the spelling) dream cos I feel so free with it.

  1. As far as I am aware, a dream where you are flying or a dream of levitation is something to with ambitiousness, so I guess there must be things in your life that you want to reach for?

Is there something you are trying to get in your dream? are you successfully flying or are you trying and not getting very far? this could reflect how you sub-consciously feel about your self.

This is a very common dream to have! Try looking for a dream book in a library or search on the net for further detailing into your dream!

  2. Start a dream journal and write what was occurring in your life at that time and what you are experiencing now. Dreams of flight usually pertain to a personal freedom, a vindication or repressed trauma. Now you mentioned that you were bruised at that time, what emotional and physical bruises can you ascertain to your current lifestyle? Some people have this notion it is a bad thing of recognition when it is not but you did clearly state a state of euphoria- so I am generalizing that you may have some good news heading in your direction- a " cloud nine " experience. I hope my words helped a bit- good luck!

  3. If you've recently gone thru a process of growth/ change it symbolises your inner freedom.

  4. if you truley beleave you can acheve
