As we arive home last night around 11pm, we notice 1 "figgity" roach on the outside wall of the house, then it starts flying all crazy and crawling on the light and the front door then flying around again keeping us from going in the house. Now we notice 2 and now there are 3 of them! We have no standing water anywhere. It last rained like 2 weeks ago and these bugs just came out of nowhere. How do we get rid of them? Is there a bait or a spray or something to keep them away?

  1. what you are seeing are adults...they don't have the same moisture needs that the younger ones have, so they may have come from a block over.   Any general type insecticide that has a residual will work well against them.   Use the "Home Defense" type products around the porches, window sills, door thresholds and other entry points.  use the sprayer that attaches to the garden hose to treat around the foundation and in flower beds around the home.

  2. Ummm, RAID!
