Flying Scot’s Andrew Eagan and Marcus Eagan win 2011 Championship of Champions at White Black Lake
On the penultimate day of the 2011 Championship of Champions sailing event organised by US Sailing and hosted by Corinthian Sailing Club, Andrew Eagan and Marcus Eagan took control of the overall standings as the leaderboard. The pair on Flying Scot has
now won the event after a convincing performance at White Black Lake in Dallas on the final day.
The leaderboard position was occupied by Chris Raab and Bill Draheim on Mercury, as they showed an excellent performance during the event, until the second last day. However, the Eagan fellows sailed impressively to nudge Raab and Draheim down and hit top
spot. The final day’s brilliant racing proved convincing for them to top the podium.

a good enough run on the ultimate day to win the event by 31 points.
