Serious answers please.

I'd love to get my dad a flying experience as a father's day present. He was in the RAF, so seems like a pretty good idea! Something like a tiger moth flight, or introductory flying lessons. I've seen a few online but they're only available in England. We live in Fife, and I see loads of cessna's flying about. Is there anywhere in Scotland (central belt) that offers these flying experiences for amatuers?? Thanks!

  2. Contact Tayside Aviation, they operate out of Glenrothes as well as Dundee. Probably a lot easier for you to get to than Cumbernauld, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

edit; Bigyin, only parachuting at Strathallan these days.

  3. try Cumbernauld or dundee airports maybe even strathallan by muthill

  4. The Cessnas round there come from Glenrothes airstrip, I think.   Google that; there is a club of some sort.   They do gliding in Fife as well - not sure if that's Glenrothes or further east.
