it's overnight. Can I bring my own snacks? I get car sick, can I bring Dramamine or can you not bring medicine? I'm going to bring iPod. After I get there I'll be backpacking/hosteling so I don't want too much stuff to carry!!

Is it hard to sleep on the plane? Do they turn down the lights?

  1. You can bring snacks on the plane, just no liquids that are more than 3oz.

You can bring any over the counter medicine, and any prescription if your name is on the bottle.

Sleeping on the plane is easy for me, but I fly internationally often. For you it will probably be difficult- it is crowded and you might be too excited to sleep. I recommend nighttime cold medicine, because it will not make you feel groggy in the morning. They do turn off the lights, but I would bring earplugs and one of those eye cover mask things (you can buy them at a shop in the airport, or probably walmart). The flight is not that long though, only 6-7 hours, so don't worry too much! Have a great trip!

  2. Most airports don't let you bring your own food but you can bring Dramamine or any other medicine as long as its not liquid i believe. Check out your airline's website to find out what you can bring on the plane.

  3. when you are at the airport buy some snacks and drinks because on the plane things are sooooooo exspensive unless your on a plane that gets free food (eg. British Airways, virgin ect.) because your on a really long flight then yes they will probably turn down the lights so people can rest!
