Flying in a 747?

Ive been on a Plane many times across America, but Ive never been on a 747. What Airline companies use them, and what routes do they use them for?

  1. united uses them from the Us into Sydney and hong kong.

    You could probably from from LAX to JFK on Qantas on a 747, but that's it across the united states.

The 747 is now being relegated to really high density routes, from the US to the west pacific and back.  From Europe to the same area.  The European airlines have started to use mostly 777s and A340s for the 'smaller' US cities.  But you can still get on the Jumbo on the large tourist cities, Miami, NYC, LAX.  And most European airlines still operate the 747-400.

  3. I believe United airlines uses them to Hawaii  

    Qantas to Australia  

    Japan Airlines to Japan

  4. They are mostly used to internation flights I beleive.  I've been on one twice and that was to and from Europe from the US.
