Iam a bit worried about the air pressure variation that may affect my baby's ears during the flight take off and landing. Are there any ear protectors available for the baby ? Has any body used it ??

  1. I haven't heard of ear protectors but many people try to feed babies during take off and landing as swallowing relieves the pressure in the ears.

Sucking a dummy/pacifier would do the same job.

  2. It is better to consult your pediatrician first before you fly with a 3 months old. My son was 8 months old when we first flew on a long haul flight. His doctor gave us a green light to use a little baby tylenol to help reduce the pain from air pressure that I gave to him an hour before we board the plane. Also, if you are still breastfeeding, try to do that when the plane is about to take off or give your baby a bottle, whichever works for you. I never heard of ear protectors for such a small baby tho'.

    Good luck!
