  1. i fly on airplanes all the time and im a little scarred too.what i do to calm me down is look at the roof of the plane or bring a portible dvd player or any electronic like an ipod an just listen. or you can eat like a billion bags of peanuts. or bring a camera and try to get some cool shots out the window it gets you used to being in the air. or try not to sit next to the window

  2. Take an iPod, bring your favorite pillow and/or blanket, and a eye mask, and fall asleep.

  3. Why? I think traveling by plane is the best kind of transport. Just imagine that you can have a bird's eye view of different countries and cities. You'll never have such a chance then.

  4. Well you are more likely to crash in a car than in a plane but if it's not crashing that worries you, then you might want to, as others have said, take some sedatives or if it is really severe, find a way to safely knock yourself out cold for the duration of the flight (taking a nap works too). Or find some books that will mentally engage you, perhaps something comedic or watch an awesome movie that will take your mind off the whole thing.

  5. Request a seat on the plane that would put you the most at ease, bring your laptop/rent a dvd player and watch movies the whole time.

If you have a serious problem with flying, talk to your doctor about it and they may be willing to prescribe you a small dose of sedatives to calm you down during the flight. But just a heads up: you won't really be lucid/able to drive while on stronger sedatives.

  6. they have over the counter med for that it suppose to relax you try lookin at ur local drug store. take a ipod or walk man u can listen to music to distract and take gum and chew on it for ur ears the presure it will help never leave hme with out it lol and last but not least relax it eill be fine trust me there is nothin to be afraid of

  7. i take a book.

or if your going with people that works :)
